The next race & social in ANE’s club race series is this coming Wednesday, June 27th!
For the social we have added a BBQ, so you will get a beer (or wine) and a burger and/or hot dog!
The event gets underway at the Legion on the Boulevard with check in from 5:15 – 5:40 and the race should start about 5:45 pm.
This race is the Reverse Order 5k Race in which there is a staggered start. Runners start in order of slowest to fastest with time gaps based on the previous race. Theoretically, everyone will finish at the same time! First to the line wins and anyone can win!
We will use the times from the first race for the start times of the 40 people who participated. But don’t worry, if you missed that race, we will use your time from another race to figure out a start time for you.
To make sure we know how many burgers we will need, and to figure out any missing start times, EVERYONE who plans to attend needs to email Ed at clubraces@athleticsnortheast.com and let him know. No later than Tuesday supper time please. Even if you don’t race, you are welcome to attend the social if you tell Ed you are coming.
